The DM64x DSP-based digital media processors have on-chip video ports for easy connection to video devices and are capable of handling both video and audio encode and decode for IP-based video surveillance applications.The single, programmable digital media processor is a cost-effective solution because the need for external PCI or EMAC is eliminated.
